Meet Your Guide
She may not know the secret to happiness, but you're never sad in a river
Lia's Story
Lia grew up in Houston, Texas, and moved to Colorado in 2015. She swam in college before earning her master's degree in High Altitude Exercise Physiology, and fly fishing has always been a constant in her life. What started as a pastime with her dad grew into a lifelong passion—one rooted in curiosity, connection, and the simple joy of being on the water.
For Lia, fly fishing is about more than catching trout. It's about the experience—the river, the peace that comes with being outside, and the healing power of nature. She especially loves working with veterans, helping them find the same sense of calm and renewal that the water has always given her.
She loves exploring new streams, tying her own flies, and seeing how each day on the water brings something different. The fish are always a welcome bonus, but the true reward is time spent outdoors, in rhythm with the river.
